This is all about my Church group in Door of Faith Christian Church International
it all started when my best friend invited me in the church, He invited me before in 2019 to go with him to church because he said it was fun there but I didn’t want to because I don’t like that and I’m a shy person, but he always invited me before and the second time he invited me was on May 1st week of this year and then I agreed to go with him and that’s what I thought I would get back from him because of the favors he did for me. The very first Sunday that I attended, I just didn’t feel like it, I wasn’t excited and I was thinking that I would just give him what he wanted. I was happy in that church, they even introduced me to the front and I was very shy at that time, My best friend introduced me to his acquaintances at church, especially to our pastor and pastora Pastor Kim and Pastor Pia, my best friend also introduced me to our leader, kuya JC, I used to be shy and very quiet. I didn’t know that was the beginning of everything I’m going to tell this story….
I am happy in the church and they accepted me as if they were their family. I am also happy with my group members. I am blessed because they are my group members and to my leader. I was very shy at that time, I only answered when I was spoken to and I didn’t pay much attention to my group mates, I only went with my best friend and he was the only one I talked to. I still remember when they always told me “that’s how we used to be, very quiet but look at us now we’re noisy” we just laughed. so after I attended the first Sunday, I immediately thought that I will not attend next Sunday, but my leader told me to attend again next Sunday, then I thought about it, so I just said that I will attend again next Sunday because I was ashamed to say no to him, and Sunday came again, I attended until I got used to it and I started to like attending because there is nothing to do here at home every Sunday. I also remembered the first cell group I attended, I was quiet and didn’t talk much
until I got used to it, I always attend every Sunday and I also have fun when I go to church, but I’m still quiet and don’t talk much.
It was at that youth camp that everything started, my shyness disappeared, I was able to talk to others and I was able to talk to other members of our group as well. the line of the youth camp is “a difference maker 2.0” I really changed, but before I went there I was still thinking twice whether I would go there or not because it was two days and there was a fee but praise God because I was still there and I can truly say I enjoyed it and I changed a lot.
are we lucky? or let’s say he is destined to be our leader, I can’t say anything to my brother because he is a very kind leader, sometimes we are naughty but he is still there to support and guide us, he is always there when we need him, he always provides what we need , sometimes we don’t ask if he’s okay or not, we don’t think about him if he’s going through a problem, but even so, he’s still there by our side and we know that he won’t leave us, we’re very grateful to him, especially me. I can’t even show and tell him that I’m so grateful, I’m making him feel that, am I really making him feel that? HAHAHAHAHA we are always thankful to him and I will never forget him
Our church is currently in the transition part, so we are quite busy right now, hauling – setting up – hauling, because the church lot is not finished yet, and the former church building is no longer there, so that’s what we are doing, we are hauling things from saturday then set up at the brcc and when sunday night comes we will haul it again and then we will take it there to where the things are stored, our situation is difficult now but we just trust in the lord because we know that he will help us in this situation
and I also have a ministry in the church, that’s the technical and sound team that mixes sounds and projects presentations. I’m happy with the ministry that I chose even though at first it wasn’t the ministry that I wanted, the ministry that I really want is the guitar which is PnW team (praise and worship) but it might take a long time before I can play and I also listened to the advice of those who were there to prioritize tech and now I’m happy I chose it
I still have a lot to tell but it’s too long so I’ll stop here first, I’m happy with my story I’m happy with my team I’m very thankful because I encounter the Lord God and I’m happy with our group thank youuuuu!!!!
